Japan Visa Application Process

1. COE Issuance: The Immigration Services Agency of Japan processes and issues the official Certificate of Eligibility (COE), which takes about 2-3 months.
2. Pay the First-Year Tuition: Payment is made directly to the Japanese school’s bank account, and the original COE document will be obtained.
3. Embassy of Japan / VFS (Kathmandu): Submit your Passport, COE, Visa Application Form and Educational Certificates at the Embassy of Japan, Nepal or the designated VFS Application center in Kathmandu.
4. Visa Stamping s Travel: When your visa has been approved, pick up a stamped passport and travel to Japan within 3 months of COE issuance.
