Japanese Certification Levels:

Japanese proficiency courses follow the official JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) and NAT-TEST frameworks.

• Basic and Elementary (N/NAT 5Q): It introduces fundamental grammar, basic conversational skills and introductory statements (Hiragana, Katakana and basic Kanji).
• Elementary and Conversational (N4/NAT 4Q): Expands the vocabulary, sentence structures and intermediate forms of Kanji.
• Intermediate (N3/NAT 3Q): It bridges the basic conversational ability of the student with practical fluency which is required to read specific daily scenarios and transition into the academic environments.
• Upper-Intermediate to Advanced (N2/N1): Focuses on more complex form of reading comprehension, professional vocabulary and speed-listening which ultimately prepares the candidates for direct enrollment into top Japanese universities or high-level employment.

Exam Types

• JLPT: It is the global standard proficiency certification recognized by all the universities, employers and immigration bodies in Japan. Held twice annually in July and December.
• NAT-TEST: Follows the exact layout and syllabus of the JLPT. But is offered up to 6 times per year with rapid 3-week processing, which makes it ideal for immediate student visa timelines.
• JFT-Basic: Evaluates the student’s practical daily communication skills required specifically for the SSW (Specified Skilled Worker) visa pathway.
• TopJ: Assesses the functional ability and knowledge of corporate Japanese culture and current news.
